handmade flower garlands

handmade paper flower garlands for a flower themed bridal shower - each flower made from a circle of doubled sided printed paper & hole punched. Each paper flower is threaded one at a time onto a beautiful  vintage french cotton bouclé- a pretty butter yellow yarn. they look great hanging, swaying in the breeze, or tossed on the table for a simple display.

this week's word for illustration friday is confined- wouldn't you know it, I've been drawing up corsets lately-  maybe I'll create a paper doll series! micro pen & ink on watercolor. the original drawings are about 1"h.

what better to start the year out with than a renewal of love!

I'm very lucky to be able to say I'm Matron of Honor for my sister's upcoming nuptials this summer! This excitement of sharing in my sister's wedding planning combined with a few bridal shower invites to do.... has me making bridal shower illustrations galore. i love sharing the love!
